Late in July 2026, a software update changed a few default security settings on the Yampa River Guides website. Unfortunately, when trying to download any of the guide packages, these new settings prompted a message to appear stating that you didn’t have permission to download!
I’m very sorry for that inconvenience. I think I discovered the problem about two weeks after it started, and then I got it sorted out and fixed within a couple of hours. As the Yampa was just flowing at a trickle at the time, there were very few attempts to download guides during those two weeks, but I’m sure it was very frustrating for those who did try.
It was this incident that prompted me to add this Comments page to the website. If a problem like this arises again in the future, please describe it here as a comment or send me an E-mail, and I’ll be notified promptly.
